Replacing the flag at Lou Bachrodt Auto Mall

Our Amazing Great Friends at Lou Bachrodt Auto Mall

Not long ago, The Glory Truck started having transmission problems. That’s never a good thing, but for Operation Fallen Flags, it seemed like a disaster, because the price of a replacement transmission seemed beyond the reach of the group. Not enough money.

Even though the friendly people at Lou Bachrodt had already done other big repairs on The Glory Truck (including a replacement engine!!!), Blackjack 6 called Lou Bachrodt and asked if there was anything they could do to help. It wasn’t long until Lou Bachrodt offered to provide a replacement transmission for the ailing truck. Wow!!! Thank you.

Installing new flag at Lou Bachrodt Chevrolet

A few years before that, four Smoke Brothers were raising a new flag at the Lou Bachrodt Auto Mall. Nick Parnello and Sergeant Tango got talking with the service manager about flags and other things, including the fact that The Glory Truck needed new brakes. Next thing you know, Lou Bachrodt Auto Mall had stepped in and saved the day. Thanks to our friends at Lou Bachrodt, The Glory Truck’s brakes are now like brand new.

Sergeant Tango, Blackjack 6, Sergeant Navy, and Captain Ken finished up the work on the flag pole, and now there’s a brand new 12 x 18-foot American flag proudly flying over the Lou Bachrodt Auto Mall.

Starting in business back in 1953, Lou Bachrodt has several facilities in the area, and we are grateful for the way they always support our veterans.

Thanks to Captain Ken for the great photos.
